Moreover, what are some amazing add ons and what is worth to buy. After all, every woman wants to look stylish and modern, and to be ahead of “fashion” and all of the new trends that are entering into fashion industry.
For those that are new here and don’t understand the concept of a capsule wardrobe, it is a mixture of all basic pieces that fit in with your lifestyle and daily routine, which creates “capsules”. Therefore, this concept allows you to have less clothes and an endless amount of amazing outfit combinations. As long as you have all the basic pieces you need, you are set! Also, if you’re wondering basic pieces should be all of neutral shades and earthy tones. However, if you can’t live without color, Spring is the best time and season for experiments and to try out new trends and colors!
In this blog post, I have a fantastic mix of basics and some pop of color for Spring season. So, let’s dive into this ultimate guide for some outfit ideas for Spring 2022!

Let’s start with some basics!!!
1. White T-shirt
I will never get tired of repeating myself that a plain white t-shirt is so basic but such a staple that will solve all your questions. I wear my year round, which has to mean that it is a super versatile piece in my wardrobe. So, you must invest in to a good-quality and expensive white t-shirt. But, if you don’t have one already I recommend you to look into these options.
2. Turtleneck
Turtlenecks look very clean, chic, warm and the best part about this item is that its super basic, which means that you can easily pair it with any color. Its also one of my favorite and most worn pieces in my closet.
3. White “Dressy” Shirt
I’m sure that by know every woman owns at least one dressy white button down shirt. But if you don’t have one first of all, check out your husband’s closet!!! And if your loved one doesn’t have one then it’s time for you to invest into one. I would also recommend getting a good and expensive-looking white classy shirt. And I have added couple of good options here and here.
4. Sweater
Best choice for cold weather, and super practical. Choose modern and simple models. The most suitable sweater for Spring are monochrome sweaters in beige, oatmeal, milk and white.
5. Blazer
This is one of my most favorite outwear pieces that I wear year round! However, If you’re still searching for a great blazer that will always look modern and chic, I would recommend choosing slightly elongated blazers, they are really fashionable, but yet they could be worn with absolutely everything. In addition, you can layer it up for fall and winter seasons, with a coat, trench coat, puffy jackets and other outerwear.
6. Trench Coat
A classic piece of outerwear, super universal, which should be present in every closet. Look for a “classical” model, which doesn’t have any prints or additional colors and extra details. It will last longer and will fit in with majority clothes of any style direction.
It’s a perfect outerwear piece for Spring, because if it’s cold you can use a layering concept for more warmth. It’s also a very presentable type pf outerwear, which can be worn to any occasions, school, date, or work.
7. Straight Jeans
Its a myth that perfect fitted jeans are comfortable because perfect jeans are never comfortable! But they will have a really nice fit! Jeans have been in the “basic” wardrobe capsule for a long period of time. Jeans always look good on women and the size doesn’t matter. However, If you still haven’t found your best pair of jeans, you need search for such models that look very clean, feminine and simple. Most popular jeans are the first classic jeans, which are straight-cut, and they could be any length. Also, models such as mom jeans and slouchy or so-called “banana” jeans are also very popular.
8. Skirt
Skirt is a very feminine bottom and they are always in demand. Sometimes, it could be hard to find the perfect skirt because you have to find what to pair it with. And that is the reason as to why most women prefer dresses as compare to skirts. The easiest solution is to have at least one or two basic skirts in neutral shades, which will make you tons of outfits because you can choose any top. A good basic skirt could be worn in an everyday life or for a special occasion, like a good silk or satin skirt!

SPRING ADD-ONS
You don’t need to buy tons of brightSweatshirt clothes for Spring. Sometimes adding only 3 new bright and colorful items could be more than enough in a combination with a great fundamental capsule wardrobe.
1. Sweatshirt
Give yourself full freedom to choose whatever you like! You can get a sweatshirt with a logo, graphic design or different print. Don’t be scared to experiment, because this will work as a great pop of color in a full “basic” outfit. By using this principle, you won’t be able to ruin your outfit. For this Spring Capsule, I added a solid, light-pink sweatshirt. It’s a perfect color for Spring, super girly, chic and fun. And as you can see it combines perfectly with other bright colors that I chose for this capsule.
2. Bright (monochromatic) Suit
You don’t need to have a monochromatic suit, but this option works the best in capsule wardrobes. It’s easily worn together and separately, you just get a 2-in-1 set. You can wear it together for a more formal and busy look or separately to “dress down”. As you can see I chose a pastel yellow suit, but you can totally go for any color you love. For instance, a light-purple, blue or red suit.
3. Button Up Shirt
Again, choose any color that will combine within these pieces. But, a button down shirt is a basic element of a capsule wardrobe unless it has a print and a bright color like this one. I love how these colors combine with each other and within these outfits. And this button up shirt in plaid is a perfect pop of color in addition to this capsule.
1. Sneakers
Invest into a good pair or sneakers, because they are most worn shoes, which should look clean, expensive, and comfortable.
2. Beige heels
The most popular type of heels after black heels. As I’ve mentioned before beige/ nude heels that are in tone with your skin will always visually elongate your legs. Which is a great tip for those that are petite!
3. Loafers/ Mules
Swap out your flats to a more modern pair of loafers or mules! The difference between loafers and mules is that loafers have a back and mules are backless, which could be cold for winter.
4. Bag
If you have one good neutral bag, it could be more than enough! There are plenty of options at stores right now, which could be extremely overwhelming and hard to make a decision. Personally, if I had to buy one good bag, I’d make sure its’ sturdy, simple, and modern. But, If you’re having hard time finding good models, look into bucket, woven (aka Bottega Venetta) and dumpling bags. These are some current trendy models!
5. Sunglasses
It’s a very functional, practical and chic accessory. There are plenty of trendy models and in different price ranges, which shouldn’t be hard to find nowadays. Even more, sunglasses are able to “COMPLETE” your outfit. So, don’t hesitate to wear sunglasses!
