For so many reasons, I thought that high – waisted, wide – leg trousers looked terrible on me. And just for reference, my height is 5’2”, which means that it’s really hard for someone petite to find good looking trousers, but most importantly trousers that fit like a glove. And, it seems like I have found an amazing pair of white wide – leg trousers that fit so nice! These wide – leg trousers are from J.Crew, they have a higher crotch position, which creates that sleek fitting look and visually elongates the legs. This pair of trousers is just perfect for petite women!

Styling Wide – Leg Trousers For Work

1. With a Beige Blazer

Camel / white outfit combinations are always chic and on point. The formula here is simple, just wear a top underneath and throw over a camel or beige blazer for a more elevated work look.

2. With a Tee

One of the most laconic looks that is so simple and easy to recreate. Investing into a good quality white tee is a must, because the outfits that you can create with this simple piece are just infinite. This is always at the top of my list. And even if you have a white tee, its always better to have a couple of neutral t-shirts on hand.

3. With a Tweed Blazer

Fortunately, tweed blazers are trending now, and some of the most popular styles are the Zara double-breasted tweed blazers. This outfit is the perfect example of when the classic meets casual yet stylish. The most feminine and professional outfit combination for any special meetings and events.

4. Monochrome Look

Blazers are a no-brainer choice for most workwear outfit combinations. This blazer is from H&M and they will always have something for you to find, whether it’s a classic, oversized, or plaid print blazer. Here, we have a monochrome look that is so sophisticated when you match everything in the same color and it will look even better if you match up your shoes and accessories in the same color.

5. With a Long-Sleeve

And lastly, pair your wide-leg trousers with a long sleeve top. This is another simple outfit formula and it works at all times. This current cropped long sleeve shirt is from Zara’s previous collection from two seasons ago. And this is still my most worn basic piece. Simple tops work fantastic on contrast and layering, so it’s also an amazing investment!

And this rounds up all five outfits styled with wide – leg trousers. Hope you have enjoyed this blog post and have liked these simple outfit formulas. Comment down below which of these five outfits you’ve liked more? And, how do you style your favorite pair of trousers?
