So, you’re asking how to dress like a Parisian woman this Fall? During Fall everyone wants to look stylish and chic, and French women always know how to nail comfortable and effortlessly chic looks that are perfect for Fall season. You don’t need to put on a little black dress and a beret to look like a Parisian woman because there are way much more stylish and chic ways to dress casually and more up to date. But, I truly have nothing against a little black dress. I love wearing dresses, especially if they are really feminine and elegant. In fact, a modern Parisian woman can be very different. A modern Parisian’s woman style is a bit careless and effortless in a good way.

If you really want to dress like a Parisian woman this Fall, I would recommend to take your time and invest into quality and comfortable pieces. Like t-shirts and jeans made of luxury cotton and boots made of quality leather. Think about quality over quantity. Also, Parisian women don’t like to wear too much of designer clothes because they scream with logo and that’s a bad sign If you want to be unique and show your personal style. Most Parisians like to thrift their clothes or go on a hunt for vintage staple pieces!

How To Dress Like A Parisian Woman This Fall

1. Long Camel Coat + Dress + Strappy Heels

This is a very simple formula to achieve a Parisian chic look. The newest trend is a vintage dress, which fits perfectly into a Parisian wardrobe. For example, a vintage dress can be easily paired with a blazer or a leather jacket and white sneakers. There are so many ways to wear a vintage dress. Here, I paired a vintage dress with a camel coat, but you can swap it for a trench coat for warm and spring days.

2. White Puff Sleeve Shirt + Black Trousers + Trench Coat + loafers + Straw Bag

A white button down shirt is a classic staple piece of all time. But this time around try swapping your comfortable basic pieces for something a little more interesting. For instance, a top with a beautiful neckline or puffy sleeves, which would definitely play differently in Fall.

Pair tops with puffy delicate sleeves in a combination with a neutral pair of trousers. Any colors from a neutral palette would work, but black seems to be the best option. Layer up with a classic trench coat and add some Mary Jane pumps or two-toned slingback heels. For a more Parisian look add a straw tote or a bag, any of these would work just fine.

3. Black Turtleneck + White Jeans + Loafers + Straw Bag

Most people prefer to wear a white top with a black bottom, but Parisians like to twist it up and play on contrast. Relaxed flare jeans are the most favorite model that Parisian women like to wear. So, I have found a couple of good options linked below. White is an amazing color for Fall, it’s refreshing, classic, and sophisticated. Pair your white jeans with a solid black turtleneck some loafers and a straw tote bag.

4. White Button Down Shirt + Ankle Jeans + Loafers + Straw Bag

This outfit is totally a cliche for French fashion. In other words, a timeless outfit combination that has been tested through time. White button down shirts have been reinterpretted by dozens of designers, but the classic white shirt, like from the men’s wardrobe, still remains prominent, for the simple and crisp look. Pair it with some mom jeans or ankle jeans for a more effortless look and add on a straw bag. And there you go, you have an entire outfit that’s consisted of all cliche Parisian pieces. To dress like a Parisian woman you don’t need to buy all trends and waste money on high-end designers. For instance, you can recreate Parisian looks by using the most simple pieces, which you might already have in your wardrobe, but you can create a fabulous French outfit.

5. Plaid Blazer + Tee + Mini Skirt +Sneakers/ Loafers + Straw Bag

This is one of the most interesting outfits. A plaid blazer is a must for Parisian Fall wardrobe, which could be styled in multiple ways. In this case, its a structured, elongated double-breasted plaid blazer and a white tee plus a mini skirt. We need a mini skirt to create a feminine and flirtatious look for Spring or even Summer.
