Finally, a post that we have been looking forward to! The approach of summer hot days makes you think about vacations and trips to resorts. To feel comfortable and stylish, you need to know what clothes to take with you for a day at the beach, causal brunch and a resort wear. Or how to dress in accordance with the upcoming activities. It’s worth to consider not only the appearance of the hot season, but also other factors like the type of excursions booked, beach days, coffee dates, night outs and selected resorts dress codes.
Packing for a vacation can be so stressful and time wasting, but I figured that I could help you and myself by curating all minimalisitc and stylish vacation + traveling outfit ideas, which will make your life so much easier! I have to admit that I have written this post not only for my readers but also for myself, which I could refer to in the future for packing tips. Over packing, over thinking and over panicking are all signs that you need a guide or a packing list at the minimum.
Often, even after packing a dozen suitcases, having all trends, and designer pieces, the problem of what to wear will remain unresolved. An endless number of tops, bottoms, dresses and accessories do not always fit together, and some combinations just won’t work. One of the best tips for packing for vacation is to pack with a wardrobe ratio: 80% basic items by 20% trendy. Basic pieces are timeless and they create a solid foundation to create unique and trendy looks.

Personally, I like to go with a classic black piece. But, even if you choose to go with your favorite bright, pastel or nude swimsuit, then you still have a ton of options to style. For example, I have a black belted bathing suit, which can be paired with classic high-waisted shorts, linen, crochet or denim shorts. Add a pair of espadrille sandals and some fun accessories, such as a straw brim hat, earrings, sunglasses, and a straw tote.
Knit Set
A knit set is always a good choice. This outfit can be dressed up or down, depending on how your schedule looks for the day. You can lounge in this set at home or your hotel, and then for a quick change, add on a few accessories that will instantly upgrade your look, and the perfect white h-strap sandals.
Crochet Cover-up Look
Another piece that I’m loving this summer is this crochet cover-up. This is a thriving trend this season and mid as well get the most out of it. Cover-ups are perfect for year-round. It can be worn as an individual piece or on top of a bathing suit, which will look super trendy. Play with different accessories, however, don’t forget that this is a very bold piece itself, so don’t overdo with accessories. To make a crochet cover-up look expensive, you need to accessorize with delicate, neutral and classic pieces.
Maxi Denim Skirt Look
Another super trendy and favorite piece of the season is a maxi denim skirt. This skirt is perfect for summer because its made of stretchy cotton/denim that is also very comfortable, trendy and chic. This can easily become one of the wardrobe capsule staples. For instance, pair it with a classic striped button down and heels for a sophisticated chic office look. Additionally, for a more relaxed summer look, simply pair it with a striped white and black tank top and sandals, but bring your heels to effortlessly transition from day to night with ease.

Another classy and chic piece is a wide-leg trouser that is extra versatile and universal. It’s just a perfect outfit to bring on a vacation.
