Hi, everyone! On today’s blog post I’m rounding up 5 ways to style an oversized puffer vest. Certainly, puffer vests will never go out of style, but they can look unflattering and silly if not styled correctly, especially if they’re oversized. Personally, I love such a versatile piece of outerwear because it has many different options for wearing and styling. It’s a staple piece in my wardrobe for transitioning weather. An oversized puffer vest is also a great piece for styling with more elevated pieces in the combination with sportswear and this style is called athleisure!

1. Oversized Puffer Vest + Sweatsuit Set (All White)
There’s nothing more stylish than creating a total monochromatic look. So, if possible, try to create a monochromatic look in one color scheme, as in the photo. So your outfit will have a street style aesthetic and look effortlessly stylish and complete.
2. Oversized Puffer Vest + Striped Sweater (Breton) + Leggings + Knee High Boot
For extra warmth, try styling the vest with an oversized sweater and fleece leggings (insulated). Therefore, you will have a cozy, stylish and warm look with a Parisian vibe for sure. Also, don’t forget to always wear an oversized puffer vest opened, never fully zipped, as the look may lose the proportions and it will turn out not so stylish or not the way you thought it would look.
3. Oversized Puffer Vest + Turtleneck Sweater + Leggings with a Slit + UGGS
One of the comfiest and coziest looks combined. You can style the puffer vest with other popular trends. For example, try wearing it with slit leggings or jeans and voila – a stylish look is complete!
4. Oversized Puffer Vest + Sweatshirt + Leggings + Sneakers
My personal favorite outfit, which is super easy to recreate using what you may already have in your wardrobe. Without a doubt, It’s the best athleisure look for running errands and just going out with friends. It could even be a great outfit look for school. Love the color game going on in this outfit and green being the color of the year. Hence, you can totally switch the green color to a different color of your choice, for instance, a royal blue, hot pink or something neutral and subtle.
5. Oversized Puffer Vest + Oversized Knit Sweater Dress + Chelsea Boots
Switching from a bold look to a more elevated subtle look, just as comfortable and no less stylish. Wear an oversized knit sweater dress in a cream color with matching Chelsea boots. The best shoes for this outfit are either the Chelsea’s but let’s say you don’t have them, then I would suggest choosing chunky boots, combat boots, or wide knee high boots. However, sneakers could work as well.
